The Upper Tamor Hydropower Project (UTHPP) is a Peaking Run-of-River (PRoR) project situated in Phaktanglung Rural Municipality and Phungling Municipality (formerly Tapethok VDC and Linkhim VDC) in Taplejung District, Koshi Province, Nepal. Total installed capacity of the project is 285 MW.
The project’s headworks and powerhouse are located within Phaktanglung Rural Municipality (previously Tapethok VDC), while the tailrace tunnel lies in Phungling Municipality (formerly Linkhim VDC), both within Taplejung District of Koshi Province.
