The White Water Energy Pvt Ltd has proposed to developed Lower Loti Karnali Khola Hydropower Project (PRoR) with the capacity of 47.7 MW. The project remains under the PPA Pipeline or updated feasibility study.

The Lower Loti Karnali Hydropower Project (LLKHPP) is a 47.70 MW Peaking Run-of-River hydropower project located in Soru Rural Municipality, Mugu District, Karnali Province, Nepal. The project harnesses the flow of Loti Karnali Khola using a design discharge of 37.17 m³/s, with headworks at 1,586 masl and a surface powerhouse at 1,425 masl, achieving a net head of 150.51 m. Its infrastructure includes a 35-metre concrete gravity dam, underground settling basin, headrace tunnel, surge shaft, and three vertical Francis turbines, with power evacuated via a 10 km, 132 kV transmission line to Humla Substation. The project is estimated to generate 263.71 GWh of annual sellable energy and has a total project cost of NPR 8.10 billion, financed at a 30:70 equity-to-loan ratio, yielding an IRR of 15.03% and a B/C ratio of 1.51 over a 35-year license period. Based on comprehensive field investigations, engineering design, and financial analysis, the project has been confirmed to be technically feasible and financially viable, and its implementation is recommended upon completion of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
