The Muktinath Darshan Ltd. Cable Car Project is set to revolutionize travel in Nepal, offering an 81-kilometer route from Serabesi in Kaski District to the sacred Muktinath Temple in Mustang. Spanning picturesque regions across Kaski, Parbat, Myagdi, and Mustang districts, the cable car will feature 20 stations—including 6 mandatory boarding points—to ensure passenger safety and provide flexible access. The route showcases stunning natural and cultural landmarks such as Tatopani hot springs, Rupse Waterfall, Ghodepani, and heritage-rich villages like Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni. The estimated total cost of this project is 55 billion.

This project is one of the six cable car systems of its kind worldwide, this innovative project combines comfort, safety, and efficiency, completing the journey in just 3 hours and 45 minutes. Operating 360 days a year, it offers a reliable alternative to the Pokhara–Jomsom flight and enhances accessibility to Muktinath for pilgrims, tourists, and adventure seekers. The project promises not only a transportation breakthrough but also a memorable experience through Nepal’s diverse landscapes and spiritual heartlands.
