About the Company
The Mathillo Sagu Khola Small Hydropower Project (MSKSHP) was identified by Alampu Jalabidhyut Bikash Company Pvt. Ltd. (AJBCPL) following a reconnaissance study conducted by the company. AJBCPL obtained the survey license for the project from the Department of Electricity Development (DoED) under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation (MoEnWRI), Government of Nepal, on 3rd Poush 2072 B.S.
Subsequently, the company was granted the generation license (Bi.Bi.Bi.078/79 Bi.U.372) on 5th Ashad 2079 B.S. In addition, AJBCPL signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for a capacity of 10 MW on 29th Magh 2080 B.S.
To support the project’s development, AJBCPL appointed Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (SHEPL) to conduct the updated feasibility study.
The project is situated in Bigu Rural Municipality, Dolakha District, within Bagmati Province, Nepal.
